My journey into essential oils has taken place over a matter of years. In the late summer of 2014 I jumped into Young Living essential oils mainly just to diffuse them. I had no intentions of buying anything else or really even telling anyone else. They however have made such a huge difference that I love sharing the wonderful experience I’ve had using essential oils and products with everyone. My oily journey began as a search to find something, anything really, that I could use that would not cause reactions with my allergies. I have a couple life threatening ones to preservatives and other things. Simple things that most people use every day like lotion, tooth paste, shampoos, conditioner, OTC pain meds, and even some brands of benadryl would cause issues. It seemed no matter what I tried, I would end up with a reaction on top of whatever ailment I was hoping to resolve. I’ve tried several oils from health food stores and other places and Young Living are honestly the only ones that I have been able to use. I am successfully using multiple oils a day for lotion, face cream, seasonal sniffles, better sleep, cooking, and many other common daily uses and routines. My parents own a lawn and garden greenhouse business and I have seen firsthand how many plants are grown with chemicals and how much work goes into growing without chemicals.
