Lately I’ve been thinking about the amount of products we have replaced at our house using one or two drops out of our bottles of Young Living essential oils and Thieves Cleaner since about this time last year. These wonderful little bottles are not only loaded with health benefits for pennies per drop for adults, children and pets; each one is interchangeable with a long list of other products you would typically buy off the store shelf. You can use an oil for one specific need and it still have a list of several other things you can or will be able to use it for a reap positive “side effects”. A year later and I am still finding multiple uses for our oils that I had no idea it would be helpful for. Just the other day I read that Purification was great for skin related issues. I had been using it to clear stinky odors and deter bugs but this time I used it on my skin for an area that needed extra attention with impressive results.
You may hear or have had the thought that oils are “expensive” but what you or they aren’t realizing is the fact that you are paying for a concentrated oil that does not have preservatives or yucky chemicals and additives in it. They are unlike anything else you can buy, especially at a store, off the shelf. When you spend your money on other items that you have purchased for most of your life and not batted an eye at, you are usually paying for a product that is chock full of nasty chemicals for minimal or no health benefit and loads of toxicity on your organs and body in general. The more you become aware of this as I have over the past year the easier it becomes to swap things out.
